Speculation is building that First Minister Mark Drakeford will shelve plans for a £1.4bn M4 relief road south of Newport.

Transport expert Prof Stuart Cole has questioned how the idea could go ahead after the Welsh Government declared a climate emergency.

One Labour AM, Alun Davies, said he was assuming the first minister would not back the scheme.
