Greece hails 'historic' debt relief deal

Eurozone countries have agreed a long-awaited debt relief deal for Greece, which has been hailed as "historic". The deal gives Athens more time to repay €96.9bn (£85bn) worth of loans and extends a grace period during which Greece will pay little or no interest. Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said it sent a signal that Greece was turning a new page. EU Economic Affairs Commissioner Pierre Moscovici said the agreement meant "the Greek crisis ends here". ... BBC News

House of Fraser store closure plan backed

Creditors have backed department store chain House of Fraser's plans to close more than half its stores. High Street landlords were unhappy with the plan as they will have to shoulder the burden of financial losses, but they were outvoted. The retailer will now go ahead and shut 31 of its 59 shops nationwide, and also impose huge rent cuts on 10 others that it intends to keep. Up to 6,000 jobs are set to go as a result of the store closures. ... BBC News

High Court refuses bid for gender-neutral passports

A campaigner has lost a High Court challenge calling on the government to provide gender-neutral passports. Christie Elan-Cane wants passports to have an "X" category, which could be used by those who consider themselves neither fully male nor female. The campaigner claimed the UK's passport process was "inherently discriminatory". High Court judge Mr Justice Jeremy Baker refused to rule the government policy as unlawful. ... BBC News

Airbus warns no-deal Brexit could see it leave UK

Airbus has warned it could leave the UK if it exits the European Union single market and customs union without a transition deal. The European planemaker said the warning was not part of "project fear", but was a "dawning reality". Airbus employs 14,000 people at 25 sites in the UK - around half in Wales.
